Questa analisi garantisce un&#8217;atmosfera ossidante definita che consente di controllare la qualit\u00e0 del vetro, risolvendo la comparsa di difetti qualitativi come la comparsa di bolle e infusioni. Inoltre, impedisce l&#8217;esistenza di elevate concentrazioni di CO<sub>2<\/sub>, incombustione, nonch\u00e9 possibili danni strutturali al refrattario del forno.<\/p>\n<p>Una buona regolazione del rapporto aria\/combustibile e il suo equilibrio con la pressione interna del forno possono ridurre la percentuale di O<sub>2<\/sub> in intervalli dall&#8217;1% al 2%, il che implica un risparmio di combustibile standard dal 3% al 4%.<\/p>\n<p>D&#8217;altro canto, la quantit\u00e0 di emissioni di CO<sub>2<\/sub> prodotte dipende, tra gli altri fattori, dall&#8217;aria in eccesso introdotta nel processo di combustione. Si stima che per ogni riduzione dell&#8217;1% del flusso di gas incombusti attraverso il forno, la riduzione delle emissioni di CO2 derivanti dalla combustione sar\u00e0 intorno al 2% &#8211; 3%.
