The tile manufacturer from Onda, CRISTAL Cerámicas, has carried out a revamping of the OPTIMA® system by OXYCOMB Sistemas in its SITI B&T kiln, as part of its technological renewal plan. The intervention consisted of the incorporation of two additional pressure probes, which allow for more precise control of the combustion process, especially in the final firing – rapid cooling zone.

With this improvement, a 3% reduction in gas consumption is estimated, representing a significant step forward in terms of energy efficiency and sustainability, while strengthening the company’s competitiveness in the ceramic sector.
