THE NEED FOR CONTINUOUS CONTROL OF COMBUSTION ATMOSPHERES

2006

OXYCOMB Sistemas S.L. is born specialized in the manufacture of analyzers for the control of combustion atmospheres in industrial environments

2007

First range of OPTIMA® analyzers capable of measuring continuously, and in situ, at temperatures between 500ºC and 1,450ºC, %O2, pressure and temperature in combustion gases.

2008

The OPTIMA® OXT analyzers are launched for the measurement of %O2 and %C in controlled atmosphere metal heat treatment furnaces.

2009

New design of the OPTIMA® P analyzers with pressure measurement.

2010

SAD25 process visualization and recording software.

2012

BLUESKY® analyzers are created for low temperature combustion processes (below 600ºC).

2014

BLUESKY® P&CO with built-in pressure and CO measurement.

2017

New range of BLUESKY® RH analyzers to automatically measure and control relative humidity, temperature and pressure in industrial dryers.

2018

New DATATRACKER 2000 switchboard for displaying and retransmitting measurements. The OXPAR analyzer is developed for the continuous measurement of particles in the chimney.

2021

New SAD50 software for process visualization, register and regulation.

2023

Launching of the new OXCEMS® analyzer for continuous monitoring and control of chimney emissions (O2, CO CO2, NOx, SO2, particles, flow, temperature, pressure, etc.).

The concept of Industry 4.0 aims for “smart factories” to be capable of achieving greater adaptability to needs and production processes, as well as increasing the quantity and quality of production at a much lower cost saving energy and being more energy efficient.

Therefore, the control, analysis and optimization of the energy consumption of consuming machines must be supervised and monitored at all times. OXYCOMB Sistemas, thanks to the technology of its OPTIMA® System, ensures that all its clients can fully immerse themselves in industry 4.0.

METHODOLOGY

  1. Installation and equipment adaptation. We implement our technology which allows to reduce thermal and electrical consumption based on the needs of the process, improving product quality and reducing polluting emissions.
  2. Data collecting. We continuously monitor all the process data captured by our analyzers.
  3. Data processing. We study and analyze the data for a better understanding and interpretation that leads to better efficiency and optimization of resources as well as control and/or improvement of product quality.
  1. Decision making (Energy consulting). The actions to be taken are decided based on the results, diagnoses and the application of A.I. through control algorithms that are applied in real time through control loops and that are focused on optimizing energy consumption, reducing emissions and quality control.
  2. Remote monitoring and control. All the measurements provided by our systems, as well as the process regulation parameters, can be controlled by the client remotely.
